In November, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite was announced globally as a watered-down variant of the regular Redmi Watch 2.
Specifications of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite in India are yet to be revealed. However, the hardware is likely to be identical to what was announced globally. The smartwatch in global markets comes with a 1.55-inch (320x360 pixels) TFT display and carries connectivity options including Bluetooth v5. It also supports over 100 watch faces and over 100 workout modes, including 17 professional modes. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite also carries a water-resistant build of up to 5ATM (50 metres).
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite also includes SpO2 as well as heart rate monitoring. The smartwatch is, however, not a medically-approved device – like most smartwatches. It also includes sleep and stress monitoring and is capable of delivering notification alerts from a connected device.
Similar to existing Redmi wearables, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite has Android and iOS compatibility. The smartwatch packs a 262mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of usage or 14 hours of continuous GPS connectivity on a single charge.
