Motorola on Tuesday launched the Moto G (Gen 3) at a launch event in India, while it revealed the Moto X Play and Moto X Style smartphones at a separate event. Many had expected that the company would announce the second-generation Moto 360 on the same day; though that didn't happen.

The Moto 360 successor now has been spotted at the US FCC (Federal Communications Commission), suggesting that the smartwatch might still be going through wireless testing.

According to the FCC listing, the smartwatch from Motorola Mobility comes with FCC ID IHDT6UA1 and is a wrist worn device with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The FCC documents reveal that the smartwatch passed through the certification authority last week. No supporting details and diagrams or sketches were listed by FCC documents (via Droid-life).

Back in April, the second-generation Moto 360 was allegedly spotted in images showing the smartwatch sporting a circular design. The leaked image showed the possible Moto 360 successor with thin round bezels, a crown, and also showed detached bands which might be an indication about physical customisation on the next smartwatch from Motorola.

The next smartwatch from Motorola is said to sport a screen resolution of 360x360 pixels. It's worth noting that the Moto 360(Review)  featured a 320x290 pixel resolution. Previously, a Lenovo chief posted an image showing possible successor to the Moto 360 smartwatch. Lenovo's CEO Yang Yuanqing post was his revelation about the company's future smartwatch, which involved a lot of customisation of straps and rings. The image however was soon pulled down further cementing speculation that it showed the second-generation Moto 360 smartwatch.

The Moto X Style, on the other hand, was priced at $399 (approximately Rs. 27,000). Though there was no word on when the Moto X Style would launch in India. The pricing for the Moto X Play was also not revealed.
