Xiaomi Launches Budget Mi Headphones

Shortly after launching the new Piston Fresh in-ear headphones, Xiaomi has now launched another budget Mi Headphones. Priced at CNY 199 (roughly Rs. 2,000), the new Mi Headphones are now available to buy in China.

Notably, the new budget Mi Headphones are a light variant of the high-end Mi Headphones launched last year and which came at a price of CNY 499 (roughly Rs. 5,000).

The new Mi Headphones will be available in Mint, Orange, and White colours. The new budget Mi Headphones sport PU leather material in the earmuffs while on the inside. silicon material is used. Xiaomi stresses that the Mi Headphones material is "skin-friendly." The new pair of Headphones sport "sound chamber design" and are claimed to eliminate outside noise.

The Mi Headphones feature built-in damping material that can absorb the impact of internal acoustic waves on the diaphragm, reducing distortion and restore more music details. One of the unofficial Mi threads also add that the new Mi Headphones received Japan Hi-Res Audio high-quality audio product standard certification. The new Headphones comes with an impedance of 32 Ohms.

Recently, Xiaomi introduced a new pair of in-ear headphones dubbed Piston Fresh in China. Priced at just CNY 29 (roughly Rs. 300 or $4), the all-new Piston Fresh In-Ear headphones sport an aluminium chamber. The in-ear headphones come with built-in microphone and a button for receiving calls or controlling volume.

The Chinese company, earlier this month, launched the Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro HD in the US market. The accessory was made available via the company's online store, and was priced at $39.99 (roughly Rs. 2,800).
