Apple alongside the release of iOS 8.4 also launched the much-anticipated Apple Music app for users. While general users got the updated iOS version and the Music app, those users who are running the developer beta version of iOS 9 were left behind.

However, Eddy Cue, Apple Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, on Tuesday said those using the iOS 9 developer beta would get their hands on Apple Music early next week. Replying to a tweet, Cue said Apple Music would be rolled out to these users along with the next iOS 9 beta version.

Cue later tweeted that users can also turn off the auto-renew function in Apple Music any time online. He further tweeted that the bitrate of the streamed music "depends on whether you are on Wi-Fi or cellular." Here's how users can disable auto-renewal of their Apple Music subscription.

Apple Music launched on Tuesday with everyone getting a free 3-month trial to enjoy the service and see if it works for them. After a free 3-month trial, users in India can continue to enjoy Apple Music at just Rs. 120 per month, with family plans (for up to six users) at Rs. 190 per month. That's a considerable discount compared to their dollar equivalents. Beats 1 Radio is of course free for life. The updated Music app also includes Apple Music Connect, a social network of sorts that aims to connect artists with their fans.

Apart from the revamped Music app, the iOS 8.4 update also includes improvements for iBooks and other bug fixes. These include fix for the infamous bug that caused the iOS device to reboot when it received a specific series of Unicode characters.
