Freedom 251 Maker to Open Booking of Budget HD LED TV on Monday

Noida-based Ringing Bells, the makers of the Freedom 251 smartphones, on Friday announced it will open the booking for its first 31.5-inch HD LED TV on August 15.

The delivery of the Rs. 9,900 Freedom 9900 HD LED TV will start from August 16 and the product will be delivered in the cash-on-delivery (COD) mode, the company said in a statement.

"Like our handset, we are expecting a good response for the television and assure our customers that they will get a quality product in an affordable price in the current market scenario," it added.

Freedom 9900 comes with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels, and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. It has two HDMI ports, two USB ports, and two speakers.

The booking can be done on the company's website.

Earlier this month, Ringing Bells announced it had started delivering 65,000 units of the Freedom 251 smartphones. "We started the process of lottery a few days back and now are dispatching the units to the people. We are elated with the response that we have got for the delivered units," the company said in a statement.

The company started the deliveries in states like West Bengal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, New Delhi, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

With the delivery of 65,000 units, the overall delivery of Freedom 251 will stand at 70,000 units across the country.

According to Ringing Bells' founder and CEO Mohit Goel the company has been able to keep its promise to consumers.
