Vodafone Rs. 198 Prepaid Pack Revised to Offer 1.4GB Data Per Day to Take on Jio, Airtel

Taking on Jio and Airtel in the competitive Indian telecom scene, Vodafone has revised its Rs. 198 prepaid pack to now offer 1.4GB data per day. This Vodafone pack also comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, and 100 SMSes per day. The validity of the revised pack remains constant at 28 days. It takes on Airtel's Rs. 199 pack and Jio's Rs. 149 pack, which offer 1.4GB data per day and 1.5GB data per day for 28 days, respectively.

The Rs. 198 pack for Vodafone prepaid subscribers previously had benefits including 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls (250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week), and 100 SMSes per day. The revised pack, however, takes on Airtel Rs. 199 which was recently revised to offer 1.4GB per day and Jio's Rs. 149 that got revised to offer 1.5GB data per day. All three packs have a validity of 28 days.

Vodafone recently updated its Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 prepaid packs to offer more data. With a validity of 84 days, the Rs. 458 pack offers 1GB data per day (total limit of 84GB). The Rs. 509 pack offers the same data limit with a validity of 91 days (total limit of 91GB). Both packs also have bundled unlimited voice calls and messages (above conditions apply).

Reliance Jio, in its Republic Day 2018 offer, updated most of its popular prepaid packs to offer up to 50 percent more data than before. Along with its Rs. 199 pack, Airtel also updated the Rs. 448 and Rs. 509 prepaid packs to offer 1.4GB 3G/ 4G data per day instead of the earlier 1GB per day. Validity for the two packs is days and days respectively.
