Sony launches Android tablets in India

  • The Tablet S will be available for RS 33,990 and RS 29,990 for the 3G and Wi-Fi models respectively.
Sony has launched two Android powered tablets in the country, the Tablet S and the Tablet P.
 
The Tablet S features a 9.4 inch display, NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor and 1GB of RAM alongside a unique wedge shaped design.

In comparison the Tablet P features a first of its kind dual 5.5 inch clamshell design, but aside from this difference the device maintains the same internals as the Tablet S.
 
Both the devices feature PlayStation certification, universal remote functionality, and a wireless throw syncing technology.
 
Aside from these features the Tablet S will be available in Wi-Fi only and 3G models which will feature 16 GB of storage. The Tablet P will only come in a 3G only model with 4 GB of storage.
 
The Tablet S will be available for RS 33,990  and RS 29,990 for the 3G and Wi-Fi models respectively.
 
The Tablet P will be available for RS 36,990.
