Google's first Nexus 10 tablet, that went "out of inventory" in most parts of the world in November 2013, might be back in a new avatar soon.

The Google Play store listing of the Nexus 10 tablet in some regions has a new status for the device, changing from "out of inventory" to "coming soon", hinting that the company might bring back the tablet soon. However, as of now, there is no word when the Nexus 10 tablet will be available again on the Play Store.

Notably, the Google Nexus 10 tablet that was launched for the Indian market in November 2013 is now not available at the Play Store India.

A refreshed version of the Nexus 10 tablet could be on the cards, running Google's latest Android KitKat version out-of-the-box, considering the Play Store is showing the original Nexus 10 tablet as "coming soon".

The original Nexus 10 tablet was launched in October 2012. It features a 10-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) True RGB Real Stripe PLS display with pixel density of 300ppi and also sports Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The tablet is powered by 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex A15 processor with Mali-T604 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants - 16GB and 32GB - with no expandable storage support. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Nexus 10 also packs a large 9000mAh battery.

Earlier, Google announced the dates for its annual developers' conference, I/O 2014. Google's Sundar Pichai revealed that Google I/O 2014 is scheduled for June 25 to 26, and the Mountain View giant would be hosting the event again at Moscone West in San Francisco, like 2013.
