Micromax, alongside the Canvas Lapbook L1161, launched the Canvas Laptab LT777 tablet in India on Thursday. The 2-in-1 convertible is priced at Rs. 17,999 and would go on sale via Amazon India starting Tuesday. It comes as a successor to the Canvas Laptab LT666, which was launched in April this year.
The single-SIM supporting Micromax Canvas Laptab LT777 runs on Windows 10 and features an 11.6-inch (1280x800 pixels) resolution multi-touch IPS display. It is powered by a 64-bit 4th-Generation Intel Atom Z3735F processor (2MB cache, four cores, four threads, 1.33GHz base frequency, 1.83GHz burst frequency), clubbed with 2GB DDR3L RAM and Intel HD Graphics. Like its predecessor, the device also works as a tablet when detached from the 8.8mm magnetic keyboard dock, which features a trackpad and a full-sized USB port on the base.
The Canvas Laptab LT777 features the same 2-megapixel front and rear fixed focus cameras as the Canvas Laptab LT666 but is backed by a larger 9000mAh battery, said to deliver up to 8-10 hours of usage time. The 2-in-1 device's inbuilt 32GB EEMC storage can be further expanded via microSD card slot (up to 64GB). Weighing around 1.5kg (with keyboard), the Canvas Laptab LT777 includes Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity options. It will be available in a Black colour variant.
The company on Thursday launched the Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 laptop, priced at Rs. 13,999. The Windows 10-based laptop features almost the same specifications but comes with a non-detachable keyboard, lower battery capacity of 5000mAh, and a lower HD display resolution. The Canvas Lapbook L1161 is available to purchase via Snapdeal.
