After launching its Tab 4 series laptops at MWC this year, Lenovo on Thursday launched the series in India and the company has already made two out of the four new tablets available for purchase through Flipkart in the country. The newly launched tablets include: Lenovo Tab 4 10, Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus, Lenovo Tab 4 8, and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. The Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus has been made available in 4GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/16GB storage variants at Rs. 29,990 and Rs. 24,990 respectively. On the other hand, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus tablets have been priced by the company at Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 16,990 respectively. Currently, only Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus models and Lenovo Tab 4 8 tablet can be purchased from Flipkart.
Jumping straight away into the specifications, both variants of the Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus tablet come with similar specifications apart from the memory and the storage. The Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports a 10.1-inch full-HD (1200x1920 pixels) display. The tablet is powered by an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus tablet sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel shooter at the front of the device. The storage on both variants is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB ). The tablet houses a 7000mAh battery and the connectivity options offered by the mobile device include 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
Moving on to the Lenovo Tab 4 8, the new tablet from Lenovo also runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box but comes with an 8-inch HD display. The tablet is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon MSM8917 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the tablet comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel shooter at front.
The new Lenovo tablet comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet houses a 4850mAh battery and the connectivity options offered include 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Finally moving on to the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, the tablet runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports an 8-inch full-HD display. The tablet is powered by an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz.
