Asus has launched two new tablets at the Computex conference; the Tablet 600 running on Windows RT and the Tablet 810 featuring Windows 8.
The Asus Tablet 600 packs in quite a punch under the hood. It is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad core processor, has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The Tablet 810 on the other hand features the Next Generation Intel Atom processor with 2 GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Both tablets sport a Super IPS+ display supporting a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The screen size of the Tablet 600 is 10.1-inches while the Tablet 810 has an 11.6-inch screen. They also come with Asus SonicMaster technology offering premium audio quality.
Drawing on the functionality from the Asus Transformer Prime, the tablets have a detachable dock with full QWERTY keyboards, a trackpad, additional USB ports and an extra battery. They are NFC capable to allow syncing with other NFC devices.
