Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime Price in India Down to Rs. 7,999; Offers on Mi 4 and Mi 4i

Xiaomi India on Tuesday announced that the Redmi Note Prime will be now available at Rs. 7,999, down Rs. 500 from the launch price. To recall, Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime smartphone was launched in India back in December priced at Rs. 8,499. As before, the Redmi Note Prime will be available exclusively via Amazon India and Mi.com.

The Chinese company also announced new offers as part of "Mi Week" on Amazon India from Tuesday to Friday, where the Mi 4 and Mi 4i will be available at discounted prices for the four days. Under the offer, the Xiaomi Mi 4 will be available at Rs. 12,999 while the Xiaomi Mi 4i will be available at Rs. 9,999 during this week.

To refresh, the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime smartphone was unveiled as the second 'Made in India' smartphone after the Redmi 2 Prime.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime runs Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7. It is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clubbed with 2GB LPDDR3 of RAM. The smartphone includes 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Redmi Note Prime sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is backed by a 3100mAh battery. Connectivity options of the Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, USB-OTG and GPS/ A-GPS. It measures 154x78.7x9.4mm and weighs 185 grams.
