New details about the rumoured Mi Note 2 smartphone have emerged including the possible variants and price. According to a Chinese Weibo tipster, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 25,000) for the 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage model while the 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage model will come at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 30,000). The tipster also claims a third variant featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 35,000).
The Weibo tipster (first picked up by Mobipicker) also added that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be revealed later this year. The handset is also said to come in a standard version sporting a full-HD display while there will be a higher model featuring 2K curved display.
Some of the rumoured innards tipped include 12-megapixel dual rear cameras, 4000mAh battery, fast charging support, fingerprint scanner, and '3D Touch' display, in-line with an earlier leak.
An earlier report had suggested there will be three models - standard, high, and top-end. The top Mi Note 2 variant was claimed to sport a curved screen display and support similar features as the standard and high versions.
However, all these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt as Xiaomi has not mentioned anything about the upcoming device and the legitimacy of the leaks remains questionable.
