Xiaomi India, soon after announcing the 32GB model of the Mi 4i smartphone, has now launched the Mi Headphones and an all new Mi In-Ear Headphones.

Both the Xiaomi Mi Headphones and new Mi In-Ear Headphones will go on sale Thursday starting 10am IST via Mi.com. The Mi Headphones have been launched at Rs. 5,499 and the new Mi In-Ear Headphones are priced at Rs. 999.

Initially announced in January, the Mi Headphones are semi-open headphones with 50mm beryllium diaphragm speakers and interchangeable over-ear and on-ear covers. It features low 32-ohm impedance, and a silver-plated straight cable.

Some of the other highlights of the Mi Headphones include built-in Knowles MEMS microphone for calls; features Kevlar fibre within the cable reduce tangles to resist breaks; 3D audio realistic surround sound; dual-damping system that absorbs reflected sound waves and reduces ambient noise, and weighs 220 grams. It will be available in Black and Gold colours and weigh 220 grams.

The new Mi In-Ear Headphones will be replacing their predecessors in the market that were available at the same price. The company notes that the new Mi In-ear Headphones feature an aerospace-grade metal diaphragm with a patented "sandwich" design for superior sound in the mid and bass ranges; third gen balanced damping to improve airflow to delivers proportioned outflows for the front and back chambers; built-in Knowles MEMS microphone for an improved audio quality, low interference and distortion; features Kevlar fiber cable, and Brushed aluminum at the back of the headphones.

It will be available in Space Grey colour and weigh 14 grams. The cable length of the Mi In-ear Headphones is 1.25 metres and has a sensitivity of 98 decibels.
