Ahead of Valentine's Day, several manufacturers and online marketplaces are offering discounts and offers in India, including Apple, Motorola, Samsung, and Amazon.
Apple has partnered with HDFC to introduce a discount on the iPhone 5s smartphone. The company is offering a cashback on the purchase of the iPhone 5s smartphone with HDFC Bank credit and debit cards only.
The company is offering a cashback of up to Rs. 6,000 on the purchase of an iPhone 5s. The customers will get the cashback in their account on or before 90 days of purchase. Furthermore, the offer is valid only till February 14, after which the cashback won't be applicable on the purchase of the iPhone 5s.
While we would ideally want the offer to be on the latest offerings from Apple - the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus - the company has only announced it for its dated iPhone 5s model. While HDFC card purchases get Rs. 6,000 cashback, other bank cards are also applicable for cashback, but just for Rs. 2,000.
Banks like American Express, Axis Bank, Citibank, HSBC, ICICI, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, RBL Bank, Standard Charted, SBI cards, Union Bank, and Yes Bank are included. It's worth noting that only credit cards of American Express, SBI and Union Bank are applicable for this offer. Furthermore, financing offers are available from Bajaj Finance and Capital First.
Motorola has also announced Valentine's Day offers for its product lineup. It is giving free couple PVR tickets to all users who buy Moto Z, Moto Z Play, Moto Mods, Moto M, Moto G4 Play, Moto E3 Power, and Moto X Force before Febraury 14 from Amazon, Flipkart, or a retail store. Buyers have to DM their invoices to the company's Twitter handle to avail the offer.
Separately, LeEco has announced a three-day sale for its Super3 X55 Ultra HD television on LeMall.com from Monday to Wednesday . During the Valentine's Day sale, users purchasing the smart TV will be able to avail cashback of Rs. 4,000 on all debit and credit cards. Buyers also have a chance to win an additional cash benefit of Rs, 1,500 by winning a privilege coupon, applicable on LeMall.com from Monday to Wednesday.
If the iPhone 5s deal doesn't entice you enough, Samsung has also announced Valentine's Day offers on its newly revamped online store in India. There's a discount on the Gear Fit 2 wearable, and smartphone bundle deals have also been listed. 5. The smartphones with bundle offers include the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy On Nxt, Galaxy J7 Prime, and others. All these offers will end on February 15.
Furthermore, Amazon is suggesting that you give your loved ones flowers on the occasion of Valentine's Day. The company has recently announced its Fresh Flowers Store, and a host of options are available for delivery in many cities. The company has also announced discounts on its Kindle lineup, and asserts it as a good gifting option as well.
