Sony Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact Pricing Revealed

Sony announced the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact on Wednesday at its pre-IFA 2014 event, and soon after, all three devices were been listed for pre-order with pricing details on the company's France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and UK sites.

The Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone is listed at EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 51,500), EUR 679 (roughly Rs. 53,900) and EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 55,500) in Germany, France and Italy respectively. The smartphone is also priced at GBP 549 (roughly Rs. 54,600) in the UK.

The Xperia Z3 Compact is listed at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 39,600) in Germany, France and Italy, and for GBP 429 (roughly Rs. 42,600) in the UK, as per GSMArena.

The 16GB Wi-Fi only Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is available at EUR 379 (roughly Rs. 30,100) in Germany, France, and Spain, and at EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 31,700) in Italy. The same 16GB Wi-Fi variant is also available at GBP 329 (roughly Rs. 32,700) in the UK.

The 32GB Wi-Fi only variant is available for EUR 429 (roughly Rs. 34,100) in Germany, France, and Spain, EUR 449 (roughly Rs. 35,600) in Italy, and GBP 379 (roughly Rs. 37,600) in the UK. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact 16GB LTE 4G version can be pre-ordered at EUR 479 (roughly Rs. 47,600) in Germany and Spain, EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 39,600) in Italy and GBP 429 (roughly Rs. 42,600) in the UK.

While the 3 Sony devices are available to pre-order from its websites, Sony is yet to confirm the shipping details of the three devices, though at launch it had mentioned Autumn 2014 as the start of global availability. To be noted, is that third party retailers may sell the devices at much lower prices than the ones mentioned on the company's websites.

Besides the three devices in the Xperia Z3 family, Sony also took the wraps off the budget Xperia E3 and Xperia E3 Dual smartphones at the event. Two wearables, namely the Sony SmartBand Talk and Sony SmartWatch 3, were also announced.
