Samsung Galaxy Young is a dual-SIM smartphone, which is available for Rs. 8,290. Connectivity options on this smartphone include Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB. It comes with a 1,300mAh battery. The device is available in White, Wine Red, Deep Blue, and Metallic Silver. As far as software is concerned it will feature the Samsung Hub, Samsung Kies, TouchWiz, S Cloud and ChatON messenger.
Samsung Galaxy Y Plus GT-S5303 had been listed on Samsung's India website about a month ago. Now this smartphone is available through various online retailers such as Snapdeal, Infibeam and Flipkart for Rs. 6,290.
Samsung Galaxy Y Plus is powered by a 850MHz processor and has 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for up to 32GB expansion. It comes with a 1,200mAh battery and Micro-USB port. Connectivity wise, the device has Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, AGPS and Glonass.
Measuring in at 104.9 x 57.9 x 12.98mm and weighing 96 grams, the Galaxy Y Plus sports a 2.8-inch TFT QVGA (240x320 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It also comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera.
