The Motorola Moto G aka Motorola DVX/XT1032 (16GB) was listed at Amazon UK at 159.99 British Pounds, which translates roughly to Rs. 16,100. The Amazon listing also revealed that the Moto G will be available starting November 14 and clearly mentions that the price is for a factory unlocked phone, saying "This is a UK SIM free phone." The listing, which was by Amazon and not a third-party retailer, has now been taken down.
In addition, GSM Insider spotted the Motorola XT1032 aka Motorola Moto G on GFX benchmark database. The benchmark database reveals some of the specifications of the Moto G like a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8226 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. The Moto G is also seen running Android 4.4 KitKat, which is contrary to earlier reports which had hinted the Moto G would run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Earlier leaked specifications of Motorola Moto G include a 4.5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass; 5-megapixel rear camera; 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera; 8GB inbuilt storage (no word on expandable storage support), Bluetooth 4.0.
Last week, Motorola in an attempt to build hype for its Moto G announcement, offered a new teaser website dedicated to the smartphone.
Apart from revealing November 13 as the announcement date for its upcoming smartphone, it also hinted at launch countries, with a multi-language salutation that included 'namaste', leaving us quite positive of an India launch.
