Micromax Canvas 4 launched in India at a price of Rs. 17,999

Micromax Canvas 4, the much-awaited flagship of the Indian smartphone maker is officially here.

Micromax Canvas 4 comes with a 5.0-inch HD (720x1280) display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor alongside 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. You can expand the storage by adding microSD cards (maximum 32GB).

Micromax Canvas 4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. Canvas 4 is powered by a 2,000mAH battery.

The phone also offers some smart features including a pop-up play like video player allowing users to simultaneously view videos while doing other tasks, automatic pausing of videos when one looks away and the ability to unlock the phone by blowing air on the screen.

Micromax Canvas 4 will come with a new cover worth Rs.3,000, that will allow the use of the phone even when the screen is covered.

Micromax Canvas 4 has been priced at Rs. 17,999.
