Much like the iBall Andi Uddaan, its mini-variant also comes with safety features for women such as a built-in SOS button at the back panel just below the primary camera.
On pressing the SOS button on the iBall Andi Uddaan Mini, a siren will ring alerting people around, apart from sending a pre-defined message to five emergency contacts. The feature also starts calling the five numbers and updates the user's location on Facebook with geo-codes, if connected to the Internet. The phone also houses Swarovski Zirconia Crystal on the physical home button.
The Android 4.4 KitKat-based Andi Uddaan Mini comes with upgraded innards and features a quad-core processor (unspecified chipset and clock speed) and 1GB of RAM when compared to the Andi Uddaan's dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM.
Other specifications include dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support; 4GB inbuilt storage; 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; IPS display (unspecified screen size); Bluetooth, Wi-Fi; 3G, and Micro-USB support.
The iBall Andi Uddaan Mini is now listed on eBay India, with the listing tipping that the smartphone will support over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Unfortunately, there is no word on battery capacity, expandable storage, front camera, and screen size of the Andi Uddaan Mini smartphone.
The company earlier this week launched its new Andi-series smartphone, the Andi4-B2 IPS, at Rs. 6,299.
The new iBall Andi4-B2 IPS is the successor to the Andi4-B2, and comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby support; Android 4.4 KitKat; 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display; dual-core Cortex A7 processor (unspecified chipset) clocked at 1.3GHz; 1GB of RAM; 4GB of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support via microSD card (up to 32GB); 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash; 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and 1400mAh battery.
