HTC on Monday launched the Desire 728G Dual SIM in India. Priced at Rs. 17,990, the smartphone is now available in Purple Myst and White Luxury colour variants with mobile operators and major retailers.
The HTC Desire 728G Dual SIM handset was tipped by a retailer last month to launch soon in the country.
The Desire 728G Dual SIM runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 and features a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. It packs a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, and a 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. The handset is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and clubbed with 1.5GB RAM.
The 16GB inbuilt storage on the Desire 728G Dual SIM is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). The Desire 728G Dual SIM does not support 4G, and features 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.1, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery that can offer up to 21 hours of talk time and up to 485 hours of standby time in 3G. It measures 157.9x77.84x7.87mm and weighs around 153 grams. Much like other recently launched HTC smartphones, the Desire 728G Dual SIM features HTC BoomSound technology, which is complemented by Dolby Audio as well.
