Fly launches F40, F51, F45s Android smartphones and F8s tablet

Fly mobiles has launched three new smartphones under its "F-Series" as well as an Android tablet. The smartphones have been dubbed F51, F45s and F40 and their price ranges between Rs. 4,500 and Rs. 12,500.

Fly F40 is an entry-level offering from the company that comes with a 4.0-inch display with a resolution of 320X480 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android 2.3 and carries a retail tag of Rs. 4,500. Fly F40 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It packs in 170MB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB. There is a 1400mAh battery on-board. For camera, there is a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.

Fly F51 is an Android 4.0 smartphones that features a 5.0-inch display with a resolution of 480X800 pixels. This smartphones packs in 1GHz dual-core processor with 149MB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. Fly F51 comes with a 1800mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 7,790.

Lastly, the Fly F45s is an Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) smartphone, which packs in a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It features a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touch screen IPS display. There is a 2,050mAh battery on-board. Fly F45s also comes with a 2.5GB of internal storage, which can be further boosted by up to 32GB through a microSD card. For camera, there is a 12-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and 3-megapixel front camera. Fly F45s is available for Rs. 12,500.

All these three smartphones support dual-SIM functionality.

Apart from the smartphones, Fly mobiles has launched an 8-inch tablet in the form of Fly 8s. Priced at Rs. 13,499 Fly 8s comes with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The tablet has 2.5GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB through a microSD card. There is a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. The tablet comes with a 4,000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.1.

Commenting on the launch, Rahul Goel, CEO, Fly Mobile, said, "The products are user-friendly and technologically superior in every way. They are designed to take technological standards a notch higher and we are hopeful that the phones and tablet will cater to the demands of the youth as well as adults."
