BlackBerry has launched a non-camera variant of the Classic QWERTY smartphone exclusively for the Verizon Wireless mobile carrier. The handset might be a great option for some users who are not allowed to carry a smartphones with cameras to office due to the potential risk of leaking documents.

The BlackBerry Classic Non Camera is now available to pre-order at Verizon starting at $99.99 (approximately Rs. 6,200) with a two-year contract while is also available unlocked at $399.99 (approximately Rs. 24,700). The original BlackBerry Classic smartphone was unveiled globally in December and was priced at $499 (roughly Rs. 30,800).

Both the camera and non-camera models of the BlackBerry Classic smartphone feature identical specifications except that the latter doesn't include cameras - rear and front.
