According to Sammobile, the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Qualcomm Snapdragon variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, with model number SM-N9005, is rolling out to users on major carriers in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, the UK. The publication has also made the firmware available up for download.
On the other hand, Samsung Poland on Thursday confirmed an Android 5.0 Lollipop update is being planned for Galaxy Note II as well.
The company on its Twitter account replied to a user saying that the Galaxy Note II will receive the update, but there is no further information.
On Wednesday, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 first started receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop update in Poland, and on Thursday in South Korea, reported SamMobile.
The South Korea update is said to be based on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, carry build number N910SKSU1BOB4, and be currently rolling out for Galaxy Note 4 users on SK Telecom. The Android 5.0 update can be grabbed via Samsung Kies software.
While there is no official rollout announcement from Samsung, the report suggests that it shouldn't be long before other major carriers in the country start pushing out the update. As yet the changes reported by users include expandable lock screen notifications from stock Lollipop, refreshed Samsung apps with a Material Design, and more.
