The biggest highlight of all three Desire-range smartphones is the colourful polycarbonate rear panels with unique 'micro splash' paint speckles.
The Desire 530 is the most affordable of the lot. It features a 5-inch HD display, and is a single-SIM smartphone. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 16GB of storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera alongside a 5-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2200mAh battery.
The phone runs on Android Marshmallow with HTC's Sense skin. The smartphone also supports 4G LTE connectivity.
In the meanwhile, HTC has released a teaser image for its flagship smartphone, expected to be called the HTC One M10. The teaser image shows nothing more than the chamfered edges from one corner of the device along with the hashtag #powerof10. Looking at the image and the history of the 'One M' series, the smartphone in question is likely to feature a metal body. The release date of the HTC One M10 handset remains an unsolved mystery.
