HCL launches Smart Series 1044 laptop and new range of All-In-Ones

HCL Infosystems Ltd., has launched an array of new devices keeping in mind the 'value seekers'. First up, were the All-in-Ones under the brand name of Beanstalk. HCL has launched two All-In-Ones - HCL Beanstalk AD1V0027 and the HCL Beanstalk AD1V0028. Both these All-In-Ones have 18.5-inch screen, Anti-glare display, 2GB DDR memory and are powered by second generation Intel core processors.

In terms of pricing, HCL Beanstalk AD1V0027 is available for Rs. 33,696 while the HCL Beanstalk AD1V0028 is for Rs. 37,908. HCL is also offering what it terms as "edutainment" advantage on purchase on these two All-In-Ones through which it is offering free games, education and entertainment content worth Rs. 14,000.

HCL also launched a new laptop - Smart Series 1044, which is priced at Rs. 20,990. Smart Series 1044 weighs just 2 kilograms and comes with a 14.0-inch HD screen. It has a 1.3 MP camera to support video chat. The laptop too comes with "BuzzTop" by Hungama and seeks to provide an engaging media experience to the users.

Commenting about these products, Princy Bhatnagar, VP and Head Consumer Computing, HCL Infosystems Ltd. said, "The all new range is a perfect balance of technology and lifestyle backed with innovative and sleek features. The next gen HCL devices are loaded with premium features but at the same time offers absolute value for money to our customers."

The Beanstalk All-In-Ones and the Smart Series 1044 laptop will be available in stores across India from today onwards.

The company also shared plans to launch another competitively priced tablet device by August 2012. The tablet is codenamed Y2 and will be 7-inch tablet and have features such as Wi-Fi and 3G. However, it did not share the exact pricing details for this tablet.
