Asus EeeBook E402, EeeBook E205SA With Windows 10 Launched in India

Asus has expanded its EeeBook-series of notebooks with the launch of the EeeBook E402 and EeeBook E205SA. Priced at Rs. 16,990 and Rs. 23,990 respectively, the new notebooks are powered by Windows 10.

Both the Asus EeeBook E402 (seen above) and EeeBook E205SA will be available via the company's exclusive retail stores as well as through other channel partners. The Asus EeeBook E402 supports an HDD expansion slot up to 3TB, the highlight of the device. The Asus Eeebook E205SA, on the other hand, sports a 360-degree flip form factor.

For specifications, the Asus EeeBook E402 features a 14-inch LED display with a screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The device is powered by a 2.16GHz dual-core Intel Celeron N2840 processor with 1MB cache and a Burst frequency of 2.58GHz. It packs Intel HD Graphics 4000 and comes with 2GB of RAM. The EeeBook E402 packs 32GB of inbuilt storage. There is a 0.3-megapixel web cam.

Connectivity options on the notebook include Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet (with support of up to 10/ 100 Mbps), HDMI port, SD Card Reader, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 slot. The notebook weighs 1.65 kilograms.

The Asus EeeBook E205SA (seen above) sports an 11.6-inch LED display with 1366x768 pixels screen resolution. The device supports a contrast ratio of 16:9. It is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Celeron N3050 processor with 2MB cache, and Burst up to 2.16GHz. It packs 2GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of built-in storage. It also sports a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The EeeBook E205SA notebook will come with 1-year subscription of Office 365 Personal.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, Micro-HDMI, SD card reader, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0. Another highlight of the Asus EeeBook E205SA is it packs a reversible USB Type-C port.
