Highlights
  • The feature will let users shop from multiple sites with one checkout
  • Update will roll out first to Android and Web, and then iOS
  • Retailers have to support the new 'buy' pins to enable the feature

Pinterest has said that it has partnered with around 20,000 merchants, both big and small, to bring 10 million unique products to Pinterest. Its curated 'Pinterest Shop' further helps the users to find options for purchase by finding out more details with a single tap.

Pinterest has also introduced visual search within pins, so that users can browse related pins seen in an image. Users can now also filter popular products, deals, and sale items within a particular brand.
