The reboot to the well-known first-person shooter franchise - Doom - releases next week on May 13, and we finally have access to the system requirements PC owners will need to play the game. Bethesda has also provided the date and time for as to when you can start preloading the game, and when you can actually hit play.

You can get the game from Steam or opt for a physical purchase. Even if you choose the latter - which Bethesda says is a single disc - you will have to download additional files from Steam, totalling 45GB, to be able to run the game. The game also requires a broadband Internet connection for multiplayer play and SnapMap. On the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, you will need 50GB free space to install the game.
