Panasonic Lumix FZ2500 4K Hybrid Camera Launched at Rs. 94,990

Targeting sports, nature and wildlife photography, Panasonic India on Thursday launched a new camera capable of 4K video recording, the Lumix FZ2500, priced at Rs. 94,990. It will be available from Panasonic stores across the country, the compnay said.

The Lumix FZ2500 boasts of 20x optical zoom with the Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens, an aperture of f/2.8-4.5, variable ND filters, and a 1-inch 20.1-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor.

Unlimited 4K video recording (at 30fps) is one of the big advances in the new model over the Lumiz FZ1000. As for full-HD video, it can record up to 120fps. The camera captures raw images, burst shooting up to 12fps and features an OLED EVF with a 2.3-million dot resolution. It offes Wi-Fi connectivity but no NFC, and has an ISO range of 80-25600.

There's a 3-inch 1.04-million dot touchscreen LCD and professional-grade V-Log L video recording. The Panasonic Lumix FZ2500 was first unveiled in September back at Photokina 2016 in Cologne.

The camera comes with a 20x zoom and 1 inch 20 Megapixels sensor which makes it the best pick for photography enthusiasts and amateurs," said Gaurav Ghavri, Product Head, Digital Imaging, Panasonic India, in a statement.
