Google Search has got two new features. Google now lets you hear the defining calls of animals, and cast votes on certain contest shows, directly from search results.

Now you can simply learn how an animal sounds directly from a card shown in the search results by typing for the "animal sounds" term. The list includes 19 animals including zebra, ape, cat, lion, moose, owl, pig, cow, duck, elephant, horse, raccoon, bowhead whale, humpback whale, wolf, rooster, sheep, tiger and a turkey.

You can also search for "What does the dog say" to hear a specific animal. The company made an announcement for this feature a month ago via its Google Australia Google+ post. The feature works on the Google Search app and Chrome browser - both on Android and iOS - as well as desktop.

Besides animal calls, Google Search will in future let you directly vote in a contest by a simple search. The feature will be first reaching to Googlers in Asia on both mobile and desktop, reports The Next Web. All users need to do is to search for the show and tap on any of the current contestants to cast the vote.

Vietnam's Got Talent has already signed up to support the new feature, while The X Factor Indonesia already trailed it last year. Fremantle Media, the company that produces these shows has reportedly said it would expand the feature in India, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Google Search last month gave users the ability to easily save and sort Google search images on desktop. It is worth mentioning that Google introduced this feature for mobile previously and brought this to desktop now.
