Video games developer and publisher Atari has recently announced a new upcoming lineup of mobile games for iOS and Android from some of its most memorable franchises. The list includes RollerCoaster Tycoon,Outlaw, Dungeons & Dragons: Warbands and Centipede: Origins amongst others.
Atari will also be publishing a free-to-play Facebook game based on the popular Deer Hunter series this fall. The company is also launching Atari Casino, its first social casino experience featuring mini-game integrations of its popular game IP into slots, blackjack and more.
The games are slated for a Q1 2013 release with more details likely to surface at a press event being hosted by Atari on November 1 in New York and San Francisco.
Here's a look at what Atari's mobile games lineup looks like:
RollerCoaster Tycoon (iOS and Android, Q1 2013)After selling 13 million units of this management simulation classic, the game makes its way to iOS for the first time. In RollerCoaster Tycoon you create theme parks with roller coasters as the main attractions. You can make use of the Roller Coaster Editor to build wild and interesting rides from ground-up. YOu can also choose from a selection of pre-existing roller coaster templates to attract customers to your park.
Centipede: Origins v1.3 Update (iOS - Free, November)
Centipede has been highly popular since Atari first launched the game in the arcade era. The free-to-paly title on iOS will now include new weapons, gadgets, maps, and the ability to challenge friends to win coins and come with iPhone 5 support. With its newest update, Centipede: Origins, originally released this summer, features even more content for players' arcade enjoyment.
Dungeons & Dragons: Warbands (iPad - $2.99, December; Steam, Facebook and Android coming soon)Dungeons and Dragons: Warbands is a first for iOS devices. The turn-based strategy game, originally part of the D&D series, is set in the Forgotten Realms universe. Players must defend one of the four factions, which they choose before building their Warbands from hundreds of unique units.They must secure their faction by engaging in battle with other players to win and gain and control of Zhentil Keep. The game also has a single player campaign for gamers to master their tactical skills and unlock new units.
Outlaw (iOS - Free, November)Based on quick-draw shooting, the touch-screen shooter game combines the Western themes of the original hit with colorful hand-drawn graphics, an expanded arsenal of weapons. Smooth touch-screen controls allow gunslingers carefully aim for headshots or disarm opponents for extra points.
Atari Casino (iOS - Free, Q4 2012)The game features Atari-themed slot machines, blackjack and the integration of original Atari arcade mini-games. Social networking integration allows gamers to play in groups.
Deer Hunter Online (Facebook - Free, November)Deer Hunter is a well-known game on both iOS and Android published be Glu Games that lets you don a hunter avatar and explore varied outdoor environments to hunt the biggest bucks. The game is now going social, set to launch on Facebook this November.

100 games for free just for one day through its iOS app Atari's Greatest Hits.
