WhatsApp may let you revoke, edit sent messages
WhatsApp for iPhone’s beta version reportedly has a new feature that lets you edit or revoke messages you have already sent. This feature is disabled by default and needs to be activated manually. Long pressing on a sent message shows the new edit and revoke options; this WhatsApp feature to revoke sent messages will probably work only in the case if the recipient hasn't seen the message from the sender. There is no word on when Android beta users will get the WhatsApp message editing feature.

Samsung Galaxy S8 launch reportedly delayed
Samsung, which was earlier expected to launch the Galaxy S8 in February 2017, is said to have postponed the smartphone's launch to gain confidence from consumers before making it available in markets worldwide. A report claims that Samsung will hold a dedicated event in April for Galaxy S8 launch, and will work with external agencies to gain consumer confidence till then. A separate report says the smartphone may be 15-20 percent more expensive than the Galaxy S7.

Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) now available in India
Asus has finally released its ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) smartphone, which was unveiled last month, in India. Priced at Rs. 17,999, the Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) will now be available via the company's partner retail outlets as well as e-commerce websites. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch full-HD screen, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset, 4100mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, hybrid dual-SIM support, fingerprint sensor, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

Samsung may have found reason behind Galaxy Note 7 explosions
Samsung has reportedly concluded the probe into the reasons behind the Galaxy Note 7 explosions. The company has submitted its findings to the Korea Testing Laboratory, UL (an American safety organisation), and other regulatory bodies. However, the findings have not been announced to the public yet. Other reports have suggested that the reason behind Galaxy Note 7 explosions was that Samsung did not leave enough space for the battery to expand in order to cram in more features.

TRAI recommends free mobile data for rural subscribers
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recommended a 'reasonable' amount of free data should be provided to mobile users every month. The funds for this free data quota can be met from the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF). As per TRAI recommendations, the free data must be telecom operator agnostic and should not involve any arrangements or deals between Internet service provider and any content provider.

Google Search app may soon get new features
Google is reportedly testing new features such as Offline Search, Lite Mode, and Recent Tab in the official Search app. As the names suggest, the Recent Tab feature will open the last tab closed by a user, while the Lite Mode will rid the page of multimedia elements to load them faster in cases of slow data connectivity. With Offline Search, users will be able to make a search query when they have slow or poor Internet access and will be notified that the results are available whenever the device gets data access in the background.

Lenovo Yoga Book 2-in-1 laptop with Chrome OS to launch in 2017
A Lenovo official has said that the company will launch its Yoga Book 2-in-1 laptop with Chrome OS in 2017; the device is already available in Windows 10 and Android versions. The Google Chrome OS-powered Lenovo Yoga Book 2-in-1, which the company claims is the world’s thinnest convertible laptop, will come with Real Pen stylus and Halo keyboard. However, there is no confirmed timeline for the launch of the laptop yet.
