Micromax is India's top domestic smartphone vendor and has plenty of popular products on offer. Even so, it has a bit of a reputation for selling low-quality products and it knows that there are people who would simply never consider a Micromax phone over, say, a Samsung or a Sony. There are also dozens of other companies with very similar products, and any of them could easily become as successful. The company now wants products that will stand out and have strong individual identities - and that means making some bold moves. The result is Yu Televentures, an all-new subsidiary company which will develop and sell smartphones aimed at the youth market. Yu will target tech-savvy but budget-conscious buyers, and is banking on catchy names and slogans with "attitude". Interestingly, these phones will only be available online. The company also talks up an "ecosystem of connected devices" and a "differentiated user experience".

Yu Yureka Summary

Yu Yureka mobile was launched in December 2014. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1280 pixels at a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch (ppi). Yu Yureka is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM. The Yu Yureka runs Cyanogen OS 11 and is powered by a 2500mAh removable battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Yu Yureka on the rear packs 13-megapixel camera. It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

Yu Yureka is based on Cyanogen OS 11 and packs 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Yu Yureka is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM cards. The Yu Yureka measures 154.80 x 78.00 x 8.80mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 177.00 grams. It was launched in Moonstone Grey colour.

Connectivity options on the Yu Yureka include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.00, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

I am posting review after using this Yureka mobile for 1 month: Please DON'T Buy this mobile. Once you buy this mobile you will cry. Demerits: 1. Phone re-start automatically in between u'r usage. 2. Mic quality is bad, No clarity on voice who is listening to you. 3. Battery back-up is less. 4. Phone temperature is increasing, scared to talk taking it closely my ear. 5. Taking maximum time to charge the battery. 6. So many... Good on phone: 1. Look wise good and slim, light weighted. 2. Camera is good. NB: OU WILL NOT GET ANY SERVICE FOR THIS PHONE. I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE FOR MY DEFECTS, ONLY THE BENEFIT I GOT : SWEET VOICE FROM GIRLS. NOTHING ELSE. I am planning to file a consumer case on Yureka Mobile. you will get 0 service for this product. please don't buy it, its my suggestion. the better option is market available china mobiles of cost 2000rs. Thanks.

worst phone with worst service after sale

this is worst pone. he has lost of draw back. heating problem. many user having problem of reboot phone including me. poor battery backup. no replacement if found any problem. i received damage data cable. several times writ to yureka but no response. no, accessories available easly

Creating Hype for a bullshit mobile. Please read my review before buying this item

Please dont buy this phone . This phone is full of bugs.. please go visit yureka official forum before buying this item and check the feedback from the users . I bought this item on 12th feb sale .. It had frequent restart issues and WIFI issues. WIFI keeps disconnecting . So i asked for a refund since that is the only option available in amazon . And then i got a special link from amazon to order the phone again . So then i again ordered it on 25 th feb . And now with the phone next to me , i am typing this review. The moment i started using the phone , it had frequent restarts .. even when the phone is kept idle , it restarts. Then i tried factory reset and wothout any app installed , it is in same bad condition . I dont wish to swear here .. but creating such a hype to get this phone and finally it is a total bull shit . trust me guys .. spread the word . dont buy this item .. i have attached the screenshot for proof of buying .
