With a name and a strategy formulated primarily to confront Xiaomi and other low-cost Chinese manufacturers head on, Micromax's Yu has done pretty well for itself so far. Now on its fourth release in less than a year, the company seems determined to mop up as much of the sub-Rs. 10,000 market as it can. Yu is sticking to the weekly flash sale format and it's unlikely that there will be huge quantities of the new Yunique up for grabs.Expect demand to be high, because this phone promises an HD screen, 4G LTE, a snappy processor and even a high-quality camera - all for just under Rs. 5,000. If the company can pull this off and ensure reasonable supplies, it will pull attention away not only from Xiaomi and the rest of the new Chinese companies in the market, but also the likes of Samsung and other higher end multinationals. The new Yu Yunique is bringing serious competition to the sub-Rs. 5,000 segment. Undercutting its prime competitor Xiaomi, this phone offers the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage; 4G LTE on Indian bands; stock Android 5.1; an 8-megapixel rear camera; and an HD 720p display. Battery life is a little weak and the camera isn’t as good as phones that cost just a little more. However, the rest of the features are highly appealing – and this phone does it all while managing to look good too. Budget buyers have never had it this good. Consider the Yunique if cost is everything and you still need 4G, but do look around at other options as well if you can spend another Rs. 1,000-2,000.

i bought it for 5,000rs on snapdeal.....completed 1 year with this......it is really good.... 1.very good camera(front and back)(*****) 2.nice look and lightweight 3.performance(*****) 4.battery(****)as it is 2000mah 5.no heating issue 6.we can play big size games finally if you want a mobile in the range of 5k,undoubtedly it is the best phone.....

Who says Yunique has got a mediocre camera ?

I spent with my Yunique's camera for about 5 days, and found that it has all the capabilities to shoot you down. Change Exposure to +1 or <+1.5 and Contrast to +0.5 or <+1 along with ISO Auto ICR mode. It can click really nice shots because of the Sony's Sensor equipped with it with 4P lens. The rear camera can too click decent selfies. I would recommend to use a third party app called Camera-FV5 to get the most of your Yunique device.

This phone is very Good & Cheap for every-ones pocket. Its 4G phone. Comparative to other phones of same features in market are very high Prices than it. I Really Like It & I can advice to buy it.
