Xolo Q800 worked fine for me. Only the problem is the App storage area.... It is limited to 1GB only. RAM sufficient to operate. Quality very good. Vdo quality recorded with phone is very good. I am using NOVA launcher & found everything working good & as per my choice. Android has been upgraded to 4.2.1

It's now a year since I got Xolo Q800. At that time this was the best and neatly bundled mobile. Fit for pocket by size and cost. Good upload download speed, dual sim, long battery life, weight less than150 gm. Even now this is one of the best selling model of xolo and I wish they can improve further on this model. Add more ram, camera etc.

I have been using Xolo Q800 since November, 2013. Its durable and I used to drop it atleast once in a month. All edges of the phone is broken, but even then it never stopped working. As of now the only issue with it is the lock key does not properly function, need to press it hard. pros good camera Durable good battery- It lasts for 1 day and that's enough for me cons limited 2gb memory for apps can't play heavy games 2yrs back 1GB Ram was sufficient, but now its not.

Worst phone ever. I got a problem with it. Microphone wasn't working. I gave it to the service centre. And the phone just disappeared. It took me 150 days of constant calling and nagging to get it back. I finally got exhausted and told them I want my set back without repair. Customer care is absolutely useless. They'll lure you into false sense of safety. Finally after 190 days I got my phone back replaced. Yeah, not kidding. 190days. They're absolutely useless and unskilled. And its been 6 months since I started using my replaced phone. Microphone stops working again! And after a few days...bam! The camera icon disappears from the phone itself. No camera at all. No flash. Everything stopped working. It always says cannot connect to camera. This phone is absolute garbage. Buy it only if you want to buy problem. Worst experience ever! Just ordered a nexus 5!

Dont compare it with micromax a116 having 720p display.Becouse mmx 116 have720p on 5 inch screen and xolo q800 have 540x960(qhd) on 4.5 inch screen.So the pixel density (ppi) of both the phones will be nearly equal. I will prefer xolo q800 over micromax a 116 becouse i dont want to carry 5 inch phablet everywhere.

very good phone.......good display....smooth interface....good camera...dual sim...only -ve i noticed no led notification indicator...something which can be overlooked...........absolute worth for the money paid!!!

In a lot of reviews the Q800 is said to be a single sim phone. Can someone clarify as Flipkart clearly mentions this as a Dual Sim phone. Even in the XOLO website there is no mention of this being a dual sim phone.

Atlest this is available....mmx 116 rival is here I was thinking for mmx HD 116 but it came at the right time...d best part being the battery...I am going with this.... The price is also 1500 less than mmx 116...

TRUST ME GUYS ..this phone is worth every penny...bought this phone from flipkart ..got it in 2 days.....the phone is really amazing...can play almost every game...it also records video at full hd ....though only and only thing which could have been a little better was camera....feels like a 5mp shooter but...still its respecetable....a good fone from lava...looks amazing....screen quality is damnn....good..using it since 2 days....JB also pefroms very well.....!!!!go for it if.....u wont regret...trust me.....

Have a good day friends.... i ordered d product in flipkart on 10-03-13.. they said it ll b delivered within 20-03-13.. but luckily i got delivered on 13-8-13.. now im d proud owner of xolo q800.. im writing tis review based on my usage for the past 28 hours.... Advantages 1. Screen quality is d best.... 2. Front and rear camera both r so so good... bsi technology made me to open my mouth wide... very good quality pics. 3. Quad core processor with 1gb ram... oh my god no lags and i cant withstand to d speed of d phone 4. Look of the phone is killing 5. Plays 1080p full hd video very smooth and its preety cool 6. Hd recording is so so cool... i cant find any problem 7. Browsing is too fast due to d processor and other things... I cant find any problem in d phone... project butter is wonderful Disadvantages 1. Battery is 2100 mah.. its quad core drains little fast but still its decent. Dont worry about that.. 2. Lack of flip cover and other accessories 3. Lack of service centers but i found one in my area... ( guys phone comes with d software named xolo care.. if problems comes call d number in xolo care... they ll solve ur problems) Guys... leave out d disadvantages.. lava gave everythg up to the mark.. at just 12499... really a very good job lava... now iam your fan and i ll surely buy your wonderful product and once again through flipkart... Are the accessories like screen guard, flip case, pouch etc available for XOLO Q800? Can someone please provide the link ? I can't wait for Canvas HD anymore, so going for XOLO Q800 :). Hope it keeps up to my expectations.

Now everybudy confused between canvas hd and xolo q800. but both mobile's have same cpu , gpu , ram but in some fetures xolo is better. Only in resolution and big screen canvas hd is ahead. If you dont have any problem with 4.5" screen then go for xolo. canvas hd have 294ppi resolution where xolo have 250ppi resolution. "human eye cant detect difference between 50ppi resolution!!!!!" canvas hd have too many problems like gps , camera, battery and flipboard but in xolo q800 there is no problems. Maximum resolution burns cpu and gpu. Xolo q800 is qHD mobile which is also very good. becouse of qHD q800 will work smoother and faster than canvas hd. Also there is 2x sensor's than canvas hd. xolo q800 vs mmx canvas hd 1.Display canvas hd ==> 5" screen with 1280x720 resolution(294ppi). HD display. xolo q800==>4.5" screen with 960x540 resolution(250ppi). qHD display. Winner:- canvas hd. This phone is brilliant for the money it comes for . Beautiful display , Butter touch and very responsive thanks to its quad processor , Jelly bean is magical and every possible thing in this phone is made to give you a good feel . I have not used micromax hd but used samsung Grand and i prefer this more than that because i feel 5 inches is too much . I use my moto xoom for watching movies and play games and this is an ideal phone for comfort and occasional passing time away ! I was skeptical to buy from xolo as its a new brand but GOD ! its amazing ! It is brilliant in every possible way The only cons are : 1)camera .The stills are only decent and like a 5mp cam but the full hd videos are amazing 2)Loudspeaker . Could be better but not bad :) I am more than happy with this phone and i am going to order another for my mom as soon as this comes back in stock . I believe that i ordered the last piece as it went out of stock as soon as i did the payment . Flipkart delivered the product in 2 days . Its like a shop beside my home ! Amazing job flipkart !

Just received today and few thoughts of the phone... 1. Didn't detect the SIM soon, had to go switch to Offline mode then Online and it works. 2. SIM1 is 2G n 3G, SIM2 is only 3G. only 2100 frequency for 3G is supported (not a big deal) 3. Google Play app is missing "Installed APP" link.. did any one noticed? I use Android tablet and this is my 1st android mobile. Need to google it... 4. Installed a Game and yeah.. the GPU is ENOUGH and the graphics are better than my tablet... 5. Performance is far enough for an average user... 6. Speaker is good and louder in a room... not sure about outside. 7. Screen & resolution... you won't regret it... it's not HD but this is also best (personally i don't prefer HD screen as it consumes more battery) 8. In built accessories in package - Phone, Memory, Data/Charge cable, Plug pointer, Headset, Screen card. 9. I have to mention that the phone quality is really better... i was skeptical about this but really happy and satisfied after holding the phone. 10. The phone is not too heavy and in fact it feels lighter than my Nokia X6 (for the huge size). Cons: There might be some but I know the iPhone 5 has some too.. for 12.5K there is really no minus points for this phone. However will update battery after few weeks of usage. After 10 months of usage: 1. About battery... I don't have any problem to reach at least 1.5 days in a single charge. I always use 3G and listen to music and play games for more than an hour. And after 10 months of usage still the battery life is great. 2. The performance.. Quad Core with 1GB ram.. it's the best and on par with other high-end phones. For games it lags some times but I'm not into heavy games so no problem for me. 3. Just updated this mobile with Android 4.2.1 (it's not 4.4.2 but it's better than 4.1.2) and got lots and lots of new features...this phone looks much better in 4.2.1 version and it seems I am really going to love this phone for another year or so.. Cons: Camera - I take lots of pictures.. so camera is very important.. in a good light it takes decent pictures and the flash is reasonably good in low light but not best... also if you need a great picture then you must be within just a meter distance with the person or object, otherwise it looses the focus or the noise level is too high. But again I'm expecting a replacement for my point and shoot camera - where this mobile is not applicable. Still rated 5 as the android update made this phone gave a hand to lift the enthusiasm to use this phone.

I received my Q800 yester day. i'm proud to be a XOLO Q800 owner. the phone looks very beautiful. the battery back up is also good. both the cameras are taking good pictures even in lowlight(BSI Sensor). i'm not satisfied with the built in speaker, but the audio quality in headset is awesome. it can record and play videos in full hd. in quadrant bench mark My Q800 is in second place after HTC One X. the phone is very light. this phone is a good buy at this price point.

i have bought the phone from Ebay with less price than flipkart. really a very great phone Its is in direct competition with Canvas HD . all the features are almost same as screen size and pixel of the display. but if you are in search of a 4.5" display phone as 5" display phone is so much uncomfortable for many people than its the best.. Lava XOLO is a good international company in value than the Micromax is. further xolo is also launching a new series of phone with INTEL chipset.

I bought it in retail shop for 12600. Its awesome......i have played all high end games like asphalt, NFS, virtual tennis, modern combat etc....no lags and works perfectly....no issues till now. Battery is not a problem becoz its quad core. Dnt go for canvas HD a116 it drains battery (2000) faster than this as its display is HD and resolution is high . Also its price will not be 13999 as its demands are high now.

Got my xolo q800 yesterday !! I was using a canvas 2 before this..you know most of the people go by the stats on paper..its not just the stats but the quality of the screen, sensors and everything else that matters the most.. I havent seen better voice to text function on any budget phones till date.. camera is more than enough for mundane use. Quality of accessories is good. Just faced one issue..dunno if any of the other users also did..My device didnt import all of the previous pics on my sd card..as in whats app pics, downloaded pics, whats app videos etc. though it did all other media. what can be the issue?

I bought this phone for my dad as he wanted a good dual sim phone, before giving it to him I kept it for two days and now I'm regretting it as, this phone is so fast as well as its graphics quality is so good that I fell for it that instantly. Now I'm back to my old phone which is an outdated android phone. This phone is able to run all the High quality games without any lag. Only thing this phone doesn't have is a notification LED, which would had been a great help.. But that apart, this phone is a must buy for gaming freaks and heavy app users..

Bought this phone yesterday at a price of 12 k...In comparison with Micromax A110..it is five times better...Screen resolution is very good...supports video calls...camera clarity is great.. touch also fine...no lagging while playing games...look wise simply great...Supports full hd videos...guys just buy this phone...its a great deal... Dont go for brands..give a chance to Xolo..its worth buying..:D..trust me

let me answer some peoples query which can help in buying the phone. first of all ive used the phone for nearly 2 weeks now and let me tell u its amazing. 1= its dual sim 2. it has no heating issues 3. it has more sensors than the canvas hd 4. camera quality is very decent for the price offered. 5. u can transfer all apps to ext micro sd card( for that u need to download apps from the google play) 6. it play hd videos 7. in mostly all benchmark test its better than the canvas hd(only on antutu benchmark test canvas hd scored higher than q800 by say 300 odd points. 8. and to my surprise a hd song was played on both the q800 and the s3......i was astonished to find out more pix elation on the s3 than the q800. played another hd song with the same result. 9. battery charges fast though but drains if on 3g all the time and if the screen is fully bright and mainly because of the quad core processors. 10. to summarize.....i did an extensive research to buy a phone within 15k but with the features available on high end phones. was about to buy the canvas hd but thanx to non avalibility i zeroed in on the q800. but not before checking every detail about the phone. according to my experiance i say dont hesitate....go for it.

Hi Can any one please clarify these: 1. How many hours battery lasts with wifi,games etc 2. Does it has usb tethering option? 3. Any Heating issues noticed? 4. Can Applications be installed on SD card?
