First of all,i want to thanx the brand XOLO,who has already proved the excellence of quality build from the other of its class like ,xiaomi,gionee ,micromax and other makers.Now I am coming to the point...the first thing you will be totally impressed about this phone is the super cool display with gorilla glass protection.Super fast performance.The Apps and the graphic intensive games are running without a little lag. The camera performance is stunning both front and rear.Any body will be astonished how an Indian company(though parts imported from china like all brands) is making this superb phone in this price range. the only cons is battery.But now we have power banks,so this is not an issue at all.

XOLO a subsidiary of LAVA trying to catch eyes of gamer with gratuitously new mobile named as XOLO Play-Zone aka 8X-1100 with a budget price of 14999. Xolo combined some ideas to this edition of Play mobile. The key specification of this mobile is ANdroid Kitkat(4.4), 720p display, 5.0" IPS LCD screen with 16M colours, 1.7GHz true octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal space. The phone provide premium look so if you want a phone with cool look then it might be the one you looking for. Fist talk about the display. XOLO offers a 5" IPS LCD screen with 720p display with contrast ratio of 294ppi. XOLO put the ambient light sensor for better contrast in viewing under the daylight/outdoor. It also offers CORNING GORILLA GLASS 3 for protection. According to me this is quite good for this range of phones. The user interface will be based on XOLO's newfangled HIVE UI according to the preliminary specification.The HIVE UI offers some decent look and some unparalleled experience in terms of customization. If it comes with HIVE UI then it good for premium look but takes lot of resources. The processor of this model is powered by mediatech true-octa core series processor clocked a 1.7GHZ along with 2GB DDR2 RAM which is as good as to play heavy games like NFS, Modern Combat, Asphalt 8:heat. To turn the heat on to the games it offers the latest MALI-450MP4 GPu clocked at 700MHZ. In addition to that 6-axis motion sensing gyroscope sensor is put for smoother 3D gaming experience. The primary camera is filing as 13 MP AF rear camera with high sensitivity Sony Exmor RS? Sensor which is a successor of Exmor R sensor with sensitivity upgrade. 5 MP front camera with BSI Sensor & 88 degree wide view angle is included as the secondary camera. The rear camera is capable of taking 1080p video and high quality HDR images. The above listed details might pop up a question, is the battery last good? Xolo provide 2100mAh battery in it which is not the best but good and according to me it will last a day for average user and about 8hours for a gaming addicted or internet browsing. The heating problem is often reported from android phones and Google working on it to minimized. The Kitkat based phones heated less than the jelly bean one but the octa-core Mediatech processor may be a hurdle for XOLO to minimize the heat up. The phone fills comfortable in hand with stylish looks, decent camera feature, unparalleled gaming experience make the phone a Mid Range Master Class.

Buy XOLO only if you are willing to be insulted by the crapiest of service center representatives. The company has no respect for its users, and it reflects in the fact that the website displays no contact information through which you could provide feedback about the extremely filthy and crappy treatment jutted out by their horrible service centers. Its not about the money going waste, its about the attitude of the staff. Two specific cases are Ms. Nisha of Sai Communications, Laxio Nagar, New Delhi, who is a lady with a unique ability to use the chociest of abuses, or the service center at Noida who's phobe is never switched on. My Xolo - model Play 8X-1100, has been submitted for the third time for the same complaint of unusual heating of the handset on date 04.04.2015. ( work order no. 310001268031 ) Major problem of Motherboard replacement was carried out earlier & still the same problem of heating of handset is repeated. During this repairs following more problems are noticed, 1. Battery life has reduced considerable, which earlier showed more than 10 hours talk time has come down to 4 hours or so. ( 60% erosion in capacity due to battery heating with faulty circuit ) 2. Display Screen size has reduced 3. Speaker volume has considerably reduced. 4. Wi-Fi connection drops and I have to make it ON again & again. 5. Screen touch response has slowed down and many times a character/alphabet next to the desired one appears on the text screen. The said handset was purchase on 14.09.2014 and is in warranty period. Considering above repeated problems I request the Xolo management to provide me a Brand New piece and end my agony of sending the handset for repairs again & again. No revert from Xolo on above request. After 27 days, company messaged me that phone is repaired and being sent to local service center in mumbai. Normal repair time is 15 days. I don't want to use faulty phone and seek justice from consumer forum. Company is adamant & we don't get to talk to any xolo management team members. All are blocked at the call center. Don't buy Xolo models as the company is insensitive towards the customers & keeps repairing the phones which are manufactured faulty. My phone so far has been with the company for more than 2 months for repairs on 3 occasions. Prasad Karnik

a good phone to buy with 2gb RAM 13MP rare camera 1.7 ghz processor but the battery must have been more than 2100mah display is also good no problems in the handset.The front flash which is not given but included in specifications i will rate 4 out of 5 stars****

This is an affordable phone for those who want a fast phone for gaming. It is lightning fast ..!! Lets look at the Pros and cons of this phone: 1.) The charger is of poor quality with a very short cord and does not fit properly on most Indian power sockets. 2.) The standard flip cover provided with the Phone is WHITE and in dusty Indian conditions it tends to get dirty very soon. The manufacturer would do well to provide optional covers for sale in the open market in dark colours. 3. ) The battery lasts for one day under normal use and conditions. When used for gaming and for browsing on the internet the battery DRAINS VERY FAST...!!! 4.) The more apps and games you install...the faster the battery drains. A 2100 mAH battery is inadequate for an OCTACORE phone. Make sure you buy a Power Bank if you buy this phone...!!! 5.) The rear camera is good for close up photography , but the results for long range photography is very ordinary despite the 13 MP rear camera. 6.) The display quality is good and the screen is Corning Gorilla Glass . 7.) However the display glass smudges easily and fingerprints have to be constantly cleaned and wiped.

Recently i parched xolo 8x 1100 mobile. When you read specification of this phone or xolo customer care center they said Front flash available in this phone. But front flash not available. I have all voice recording and site snapshot. Now I am going to file a complaint in consumer court against xolo company.

I was really about to buy this mobile but i will buy Auxus Note 5.5 now. 2100 mah non removable battery for gaming with octa core is this a joke :/. No wifi direct,no gyroscope not even a magnetometer.

I am not an expert in reviewing the product but till date the mobiles used by me has given me the kind of experience which suggest the many companies are using gimmicks to sell the products in the market without having much values attached to it. With this mobile, i found that this is the one product in the market which has everything ... that no other mobile companies are offering at the moment. Like... Internal Memory 16GB and still u can expand through Memory card, 2GB RAM .. for smooth operation, Gesture Control ... which i feel is one of the smoothest ......... Touch Experience at par with Samsung .... etc.. Flip Cover.. ( its of very good quality) provided free by XOLO ... From my side other than battery ... everything is fantastic. ... for this i have only solution to purchase Power bank ... Great value of money .... great

Hello I bought this phone from outside my reviews are like this== 1: display is HD 5" with 320ppi watched Full HD movie like never before . 2: touch gosh much much better then Samsung s4 mini, s3 neo, s3, samsung grand, Samsung core, HTC 616, leave, micromax, Karbonn some more lg l90 lte. 3: camera front 5 mp best I ever seen front 13 faadu hai 22. 4: octa core 1.7 GHz processor + 2gb ram works flowless. 5: 3g on both sim,s but could use one sim on 3g at one timr speed 21mbps HSDPA+. 6: gorilla glass 3 no worry about broken glass and scratches . 7: bettery work whole day with average useage and 12 hours with more than average useage. 8: and it have a sound proceesor for better sound and a flip cover free with it. In the end guys best deal don't worry u will love it try from local store it any confusion.

With an awesome body (like dual tone interiors of a car), this phone stands out in the crowd. It's very fast and smooth. Battery doesn't last all that long but this seems to be a problem with any phone having less than 2500mah capacity. I have used Zenphone 5 and this and went with Xolo. Camera quality is really good and again faster than Zenphone 5. UI is stock android with no bloat applications from Xolo. Thanks to 2GB RAM, all applications seem to be happy without any crashes. Call quality is good (on both ends) and speakers are decent. Headset provided is not great but not bad either. Over all, It's a great phone. Update: The battery life seems to have increased dramatically after a few charges. The trick seems to be to drain the battery completely (by not charging) and then every day putting it for charge at night and use it in the morning. Now I'm getting 15+ hours of battery life on moderate use.

best phone pros: 2 gb ram out of which 1 gb is always free 16 gb internal expandable upto 32gb octacore mt 6592 gpu mali 450 which plays every hd game available fluently (doesnt heat a lot) amazing camera both front and rear gorilla glass 3 works best amazing design feels great to hold in hand looks rich slim light in weight dual sim no lag at all cons: battery life less than 12hrs. Bought it elsewhere.. Wonderful phone.. Camera is simply out of this world.. Display is excellent, phone doesn't lag a bit.. Games work smooth.. Light weight and slim design.. Free leather flipcover is an added advantage.. 5 mp front camera also captures wonderfully.. more than 1 gb ram free, always.. Value for money product..

Hello every one this is my 5th smartphone from xolo. Previously I have used xolo q700, a500s, q700i, q1000. Each and every phone was one of its kind no other company can beat their specifications. My personal favorate among all these phones are q700 an my new play 8x-1100. I have purchased my play 8X-1100 on 09/09/2014 from a local dealer as flipkart was not showing this product in their list and more over it was very new at that time so flipkart didn't manage to get it enlisted in their stocks. now let us talk about this device. It looks awesome. But I dnt like the white color. i wish i could get a black one. Just after opening the box there will be a white leather finisher magnetic flip cover made by xolo, beneath that you will find the white shining n glowing handset in black and white combination. Then there will a back pannel cover. Inside the box you will be getting a 2100 mah battery, usb cable, charging adepter, otg cable, headset. The phone works so well like butter smooth, but though it sometimes lag while playing small small games too. Till now I have installed whatsaap, hike, line, viber, truecaller, agent dash, subway surfer, candy crush, 300 rise of empire, dhoom-3, bang bang, singham returns, fast and the furious 6, die hard, spider man and lots of other apps. All are working well but still lags sometimes. You will always find at-least 786 mb free ram. I hate its battery backup for an octacore, 2gb ram, 5" hd display just 2100mah battery...... boss have to say itz not enough. Still I am so happy and satis fied with it as I got what I desire a removable battery, led notification, 13mp sony exomore RS camera which gives awesome pics evn at dark night also. i hate its color, battery backup, its software problem of getting data connection on or off on its own. Rest is ok

Hey guys. For a phone at 14k range, its the best. Got this phone 5 days back and i'm loving it. Excellent phone. No problems at all. 1.Camera : amazing. With the Sony Exmor RS (excellent sensor, do read about it) sensor and HDR option, can take beautiful pics. Video clarity is mind blowing on the big TV, so u can imagine. ) 2. Battery: Very decent. For an average user, it comes for 24 hrs or more. I'm satisfied, such a powerful phone and lasts for a day. And its obvious that battery drains fast if u play games. i dont know why people complain about it. Any phone's battery would drain if u're playing HD games. i often laugh when ppl say "battery sucks, cant play games for more than 2.5 hrs". well, you get the point right. :D 3. SPEED: Speed is lightning fast. dont have to specific as you already know the specifications. 4. RAM: I have ran around 17 applications at lightning speed and yet there's 500+mb free ram. Tip to increase battery performance: Install C M security and clean master. You'll see the difference. :) PS, I have got a complete black phone. It rocks. All hail XOLO play 8x 1100! B-)
