FOR iOS 14

This feature only works the iPhone 8 and later, and running iOS 14. It doesn't work with older versions.

Acessibility settings

To get started, open your Settings, and then scroll down to accessibility. This feature makes your phone easier to use.

Once you're in your accessibility settings, go to the Touch Controls in order to get to the Back Tap settings.

TOUCH CONTROLS

Once you go into the back tap settings, you'll see that there are a lot of roles you can assign to the back tap.

SET UP BACK TAP

There are two buttons you can assign to back tap, for double and triple taps. Here, we set double tap to reachability.

DOUBLE TAP

You can also set up a triple tap — this gives you two extra options. Here, we set it to quickly bring up the control centre without swiping.

TRIPLE TAP

One favourite setting is to use the back tap in place of Shake. The shake is a great accessibility feature but it's not always easy to use, so this comes in handy.
