The Realme Watch 2 Pro is the latest smartwatch from the company, and features GPS tracking for more accurate fitness and tracking data. Priced at Rs. 4,999, the Realme Watch 2 Pro is among the most capable smartwatches in its category; it's light and comfortable, has a very good screen for a product in this segment, has good battery life, decent software and companion app, and uses GPS for exercise tracking to good effect. However, step tracking is a bit inaccurate.

Among the competition, this is a good option to consider for the price, with the quality of the screen and the GPS making this a capable smartwatch at under Rs. 5,000.

The Fire-Boltt Talk is a new affordably priced smartwatch, retailing at Rs. 4,999 in India. For the price, the device is quite well equipped, including a round colour display, SpO2 and heart-rate monitoring, and the unique ability to function as a hands-free device for your smartphone. The Bluetooth-enabled Fire-Boltt Talk can be paired to your smartphone and use its internal speaker and microphone to function as a hands-free device.

Although impressive in many ways, the Fire-Boltt Talk has some issues with tracking accuracy, and the UI and software were a bit clunky and awkward to navigate. However, it's a good device for the price, and worth considering if you need a useful wrist-worn hands-free device for calls.

The Redmi Watch 3 Active is a fairly basic smartwatch, although it is pitched as a fitness-focused device. That said, the fitness tracking is fairly inaccurate, although the device works reliably for other smartwatch functionality such as notifcations and calls. The Redmi Watch 3 Active also has Bluetooth calling, which works well for short calls in quiet areas. Battery life is decent, and the screen is legible and bright, although not quite as sharp as some other options in this price segment. On the whole, the Redmi Watch 3 Active is acceptable for basic smartwatch functionality, but there isn't much special about it.

The Zebronics ZEB-FIT4220CH is a decently priced smart wearable, which claims to offer a lot of features. With a 47mm case that’s made of metal it feels quite premium and looks more like a traditional chronograph than a smart band or a smartwatch. It offers SpO2 tracking and Bluetooth calling as well. The low-resolution display is quite average, and you have to manually increase and decrease the brightness as there’s no ambient light sensor. The software offers little customisation and is spartan at best but works smoothly and without any lag. Battery life is average for this smartwatch segment, but charging it is problematic because the magnetic connector disconnects easily. The smartwatch offers only seven sport modes and exercise routines, which seems a bit limited in comparison to the competition.

The Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is priced affordably, and has a 1.72-inch colour touch screen. The smartwatch additionally features Bluetooth calling, and also has fitness tracking features such as step tracking, heart rate and blood oxygen tracking, and sleep tracking. The device goes up against strong competition in the budget space and comes out strong, particularly thanks to its competitive pricing and decent performance with notifications and Bluetooth calling. Although fitness tracking is ordinary, the smartwatch is a decent pick on the whole.

It might be worth considering this if you want an affordable device with a big screen, but a decent fitness tracker will likely serve you better.

The NoiseFit Active is priced at Rs. 3,999, and tries to bridge the gap between smartwatches and fitness trackers. With key fitness and health tracking features, including exercise modes, heart rate, and blood oxygen tracking, the NoiseFit Active offers a bit more by way of design than traditional fitness trackers.

Although step tracking is a bit inaccurate because of a high error margin, other features work well on this smartwatch. Although not exceptional, the shape and styling of the NoiseFit Active, as well as the good app and notification experience, make this worth considering, if you're shopping for a smartwatch at under Rs. 5,000.

The Fire-Boltt Beast looks strikingly like the Apple Watch series, but is much more affordable at Rs. 3,999 and works on Android devices. The new affordable smartwatch also features heart rate, SpO2, step, and sleep tracking, and can be paired with a smartphone for notifications and call alerts. The 1.69-inch colour screen is large, and battery life is decent as well at around 3 days per charge.

Although there are some drawbacks with the software and interface, good tracking features, decent looks, and a good screen make this a worthwhile smartwatch to consider for under Rs. 5,000.
