The new Sony SmartWatch 3 (SWR50) stainless steel edition listed on Amazon Germany is currently out-of-stock without any availability details from the seller. Notably, Sony during the launch had announced that the pricing of Sony SmartWatch 3 stainless steel edition will be revealed in February alongside the global market release.
Sony had also unveiled a new SmartWatch 3 holder accessory, which allows customisation with any standard 24mm watch strap. Pricing and actual availability details are still not known for the holder accessory.
To remind you, the standard edition of Sony SmartWatch 3 is already up for purchase via Google Play in the US at $249.99 (approximately Rs. 18,000).
Sony's SmartWatch 3, the first Android Wear device from the firm, was first unveiled during IFA 2014 alongside the the Smartband Talk fitness tracker. The SmartWatch 3 sports a 1.6-inch (320x320 pixels) display set within a stainless steel core, and is waterproof with IP68 certification. The device also includes built-in 4GB storage and can connect with a Bluetooth headset.
On the other hand, SmartBand Talk features a curved and always-on 1.4-inch e-paper display, which the company claims is low-power consuming despite being highly visible and clear. The SmartBand Talk also features built-in microphone and speaker for a short call function.
