The wearable is about 12mm in diameter and is about 38mm long. It sports a cylindrical aluminium body and comes with interchangeable design allowing users to personalise it as per their own use. The Misfit Ray can track activity and sleep with a 3-axis accelerometer and also packs a vibration motor that offers user feedback. The device includes a single multicolour LED indicator that notifies about text and calls. It also includes a silent alarm.
The Misfit Ray can also measure steps, calories burned, distance, activity types, sleep quality, and sleep duration. The biggest highlight of the wearable is it can last up to 6 months and packs user-replaceable batteries. It is water resistant up to 50 metres.
Misfit Ray syncs with the smartphone via Bluetooth smart wireless technology. Ray for Android is compatible with devices running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and above with Bluetooth 4.0, while Ray for iOS app is compatible with devices running iOS 7 and above.
