With the Google I/O 2014 event just a couple of weeks away, we have some more information on the LG G Watch wearable revealing some alleged specifications, release date and an approximated price in the form of leaked images.

The LG G Watch, as reported by Modaco website, is expected to release on July 7, which is roughly a week and half after the Google I/O event (June 25 and 26), and with a MSRP less than that of the recently launched Gear 2 Neo at $169.99 (the smartwatch was launched in India at Rs. 15,900). The exact pricing and availability details have not been confirmed.

It's worth noting that last month, Moto 360's average retail price of $249 (roughly Rs. 14,574) was also revealed via a document regarding the new watch face design contest.

Additionally, @Upleaks has uploaded the purported specification sheet of the G Watch on Twitter, revealing Android Wear OS would include a 1.65-inch LCD screen with 280x280 pixel resolution; a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (with APQ8026 CPU) chipset; 4GB of storage: 4GB of RAM; Bluetooth 4.0, and a 400mAh Li-Po battery that's rated to give 36 hours of standby time, and charge in under 2 hours.

The LG G Watch is also said to measure 37.9x46.5x9.95mm and weigh 61 grams. It charges via Micro-USB. The images also reveal the G Watch to take notes and notify for emails and SMS. The watch will support English, Spanish, French, Korean and Chinese language. @Upleaks also uploaded two alleged LG G Watch photos, showcasing the back of the smartwatch, showing the screws, model number LG-W100, and the Made in Korea label.

A week ago, Google's Android Developer Blog posted some images showing both the LG G Watch and Motorola's Moto 360 prototypes running a tour guide application along with a few screenshots.

Last month, a Google developer advocate, Timothy Jordan, shared notifications from Android Wear and also showed the ability to add extra pages to existing notifications via a video. The notifications show a Nest panic warning message; a regular Calendar notification about an event, a pop up message from a game (Clash of Clans), and Pocket Casts playing a podcast of StarShipSofa science fiction.
