Taiwanese giant HTC on Wednesday announced the launch of its latest Vive Business Edition (BE) virtual reality headset in India. The HTC Vive Business Edition has been launched to cater to the enterprise audience that has virtual reality applications in the commercial market. The VR headset will be sold with commercial licensing and a bulk purchasing option in India. It sports the Deluxe Audio Strap that makes it easier to switch the headset between users. The Vive BE headset has been priced at Rs. 1,26,990 and will be available for purchase on Amazon.in and Imol.in.
The HTC Vive Business Edition sports a 3.6-inch dual-AMOLED display setup with a combined resolution of 2160x1200 pixels. It has a refresh rate of up 90Hz, 110-degree Field of View (FoV), and lens distance adjustment features.
Sensors on the headset include G-sensor, SteamVR tracking, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Connectivity options include HDMI, USB 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB (Vive controller).
Package of the HTC Vive Business Edition system comes with the Vive BE headset, two Vive BE controllers, two Vive BE base stations, 4 Vive BE face cushions, and a Vive BE 3-in-1 cable. There is a 12-month limited warranty on purchase of the HTC Vive Business Edition in India.

Last month, HTC had launched the Vive Pro headset and wireless Vive Adaptor at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. While no pricing and availability details have yet been revealed, the Vivo Pro features a dual-OLED display setup with a combined resolution of 2880x1600 pixels. A new strap and lower front weight are expected to offer users with a more comfortable experience.
