The Honor Band 4 was largely expected to launch in India last month, alongside the Honor 8C, however that didn't happen. The fitness band has now finally launched in India, with availability and pricing details made official. The Honor Band 4 is set to be available exclusively on Amazon India, and at the price point, the fitness band is set to compete with the Mi Band 3 in the market. The Honor Band 4 will be made available in three colour options, is water-resistant, and comes with a heart rate sensor as well.
The Honor Band 4 price in India is set at at Rs. 2,599, and will be available exclusively on Amazon India. The fitness band will be available in three colour options - Meteorite Black, Midnight Navy, and Dahlia Pink. The device will go on sale from December 18, i.e., tomorrow at 12pm (Noon) IST.
The Honor Band 4 sports a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen colour display with 2.5D curved glass protection, and a circular Home button at the front. As mentioned, it comes with a heart rate sensor, and is water resistant up to 50 metres. The Honor Band 4 packs a 100mAh battery that claims to offer a 6-day battery life with continuous heart rate measurement, and up to 17 days under normal use on a single charge. With the Huawei TruSeen 2.0 heart rate technology, the wearable is capable of 24-hour continuous heart monitoring when running, walking, cycling and more.
Additionally, the Honor Band 4 is equipped with Huawei TruSleep 2.0 that uses cardiopulmonary coupled dynamics spectrum (CPC) to monitor complete sleep structure including deep sleep (REM) to analyse sleep and offer personalised sleep recommendations.
Connectivity options on the Honor Band 4 include Bluetooth 4.2 for pairing with the Huawei Health app, and NFC support for payments. Sensors on board include a 6-axis gyroscope, PPG heart rate sensor, and an infrared sensor. In terms of dimensions, the Honor Band 4 measures 43x17.2x11.5mm and weighs 23 grams. Other features on the Honor Band 4 include online number identification, answering and rejecting calls, message notifications, and more.
