Google in its last month's I/O 2015 conference announced several features coming to its Android Wear platform. While the features are on their way, the search giant on Monday made available 17 new Android Wear watch faces for users to further personalise the home screens of their wearables.

Some of the 17 new watch faces have been made in partnership with number of fashion designers and popular brands such as Cynthia Rowley, Rubik's, Bang & Olufsen, Rovio Entertainment, Paramount Digital, and Anrealage. The watch faces are available to download from Google Play.

The watch faces introduced are Moods of Norway, Hello Kitty Watch Face, Time Will Come, Rubik's Watch Face, ANREALAGE WatchFace, Angry Birds Aviator Watch Face, George Frost Watch Face, Terminator Genisys Watch Face, Lulu Frost Watch Face, Kevin Tong Watch Face, TRIWA Watch Face, Rowley Wristwear, Bang & Olufsen Watch Face, Geox Watch Face, Moomins Watch Face, MUJI to Relax, and Gundam RX-78-2 Watch Face.

It is worth noting that this second batch of Android Wear watch faces comes nearly six months after the first batch of watch faces that were announced in December last year. The first batch included the Minions watch face from Despicable Me movie.

Earlier this month, Apple announced its watchOS 2 that lets users turn their favourite photo into a new watch face. It also enables users to view pictures from their favourite photo album with every raise of their wrist with the new Photo and Photo Album watch faces. Also new was the Time-Lapse watch face, with which Apple Watch users can choose from a selection of time-lapse videos shot over 24 hours in iconic locations including New York City, London or Shanghai.
