Vivo Y9s is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Vivo Y9s runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 4500mAh non-removable battery. The Vivo Y9s supports proprietary fast charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y9s on the rear packs a 48-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) camera; a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y9s runs Funtouch OS 9 is based on Android 9 Pie and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card. The Vivo Y9s is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Vivo Y9s measures 159.25 x 75.19 x 8.68mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 186.70 grams. It was launched in Glazed Black, Nebula Blue, and Symphony of Light colours.
Connectivity options on the Vivo Y9s include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Y9s supports face unlock.
As of 4th December 2024, Vivo Y9s price in India is expected to start at Rs. 20,400.
