The world of tech saw several product launches this week. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi Pad SE 4G debuted in India on July 29. The Redmi Pad Pro runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset while the Pad SE 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Both tablets will run on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS. Huawei launched its Huawei Band 8 fitness tracker on the same day. The smart band sports a 1.47-inch rectangular touch-supported AMOLED screen and offers a battery life of up to 14 days. This week also saw the launch of Nothing 2a Plus, which comes with a few upgrades over the Nothing Phone 2a. Finally, Qualcomm debuted its Snapdragon 4S Gen 2 chipset for entry-level 5G smartphones.
