Stranger Things, the Spielbergian 80s throwback mystery-thriller TV series, is officially getting a second season. Netflix revealed the news via a video posted on its Twitter account.

While the video is devoid of any footage, it does contain what could be the titles of the episodes: Madmax, The Boy Who Came Back to Life, The Pumpkin Patch, The Palace, The Storm, The Pollywog, The Secret Cabin, The Brain, and The Lost Brother. This would also mean that season two will contain nine episodes as opposed to eight with the first.

The second season will be set in the fall of 1984, as evinced by one of the titles in The Pumpkin Patch. Most of the existing cast is expected to return, though the Duffer brothers remain coy on Eleven. “We don’t know about Eleven,” Ross Duffer told EW. “We leave that up in the air.” There will be four new characters as well, which might have something to do with The Lost Brother.

While the first season was inspired by the works of Steven Spielberg and Stephen King, the second will draw more from James Cameron, such as Aliens and Terminator 2, Matt Duffer explained. “I think one of the reasons his sequels are as successful as they are is he makes them feel very different without losing what we loved about the original,” he added. “So I think we kinda looked to him and what he does and tried to capture a little bit of the magic of his work.”

Stranger Things season two is set for a 2017 premiere.
