Sennheiser Launches New Wireless Headphones Range in India Starting Rs. 15,990

With 2015 Cricket World Cup going strong, popular audio products manufacturer - Sennheiser - has launched four new digital wireless headphones in its RS series in India, namely Sennheiser RS 165, RS 175, RS 185 and RS 195. The firm is touting the models for cricket lovers, saying the headphones are ideal for those looking for high quality audio while watching TV.

All four - RS 165, RS 175, RS 185, and RS 195 - wireless headphones feature a new 'Pure Path' wireless link technology, and Sennheiser claims this enables clear audio to be delivered up to 100 metres from the transmitter for all the models except the RS 165, which operates at up to a 30 metre range, says company.

The Sennheiser RS 165 is priced at Rs. 15,990, the RS 175 at Rs. 19,990, the RS 185 at Rs. 27,990 and RS 195 at Rs. 31,990. These can be purchased from company's online store or through leading large format retail stores, consumer electronics store and music stores across the country. Company is offering two-year-warranty on all four products.

Sennheiser claims that the new RS wireless headphones operate on the 2.4GHz band, making them highly reliable in connectivity with low latency. Specifically with Sennheiser RS 195, company has provided dedicated presets and modes that can enhance speech or other aspects of the audio depending upon what they watching or listening to.

Commenting on the launch, Kapil Gulati, Director, Consumer Segment said, "Sennheiser is launching 4 new digital wireless models for all needs, perfect for those looking for high quality audio while watching TV. Sennheiser is synonymous with audio innovation and with the new RS series; we continue to set new standards in wireless audio transmission technology and product. Using advanced digital wireless audio transmission technology will ensure that we can deliver high-quality sound for a great personal experience and best interference-free listening."
