Commenting on the launch Kapil Gulati, Director, Consumer Segment, Sennheiser, said, "We have always worked towards offering the most perfect audio experience and with HD 630VB we have translated our long-standing experience in the field of high-end audio into a closed-back design. These audiophile headphones are meant to redefine audiophile listening for years to come."
The headphones are powered by dynamic drivers and feature a closed-back design. Apart from a frequency response range of 10-42,000Hz and a sensitivity rating of 114dB, the HD 630VB also has a low impedance of 23Ohms, which make it easy to drive these headphones with even a portable audio device such as a smartphone. The headphones have a claimed total harmonic distortion rating of less than 0.08 percent, and weigh 400 grams. Also a part of the headset is the in-line remote and microphone which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Sennheiser had earlier launched the new HD400 and Momentum ranges of headphones in India, and has been significantly boosting its product range across various price segments.
